FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question #1: Are online courses legal for Texas LTC?
Answer: Yes! Texas House Bill 3784 made online instruction legal for the Classroom Education requirement of the LTC

Question #2: Is this for an actual Texas LTC or another state?
Answer: This course is for the Texas LTC. You will be applying thru Texas.gov

Question #3: How long will it take for me to get my license?
Answer: That will depend on how busy Texas Dep't of Public Safety is at the time. LTC instructors have no influence in that. 
However, average time for a complete application is 3-5 weeks to receive your license in the mail. 

Question #4: Do I have to complete the course within a certain time?
Answer: You are able to complete the course in one sitting, or multiple sessions. There is no time limit. 

Question #5: How do I complete the Range Proficiency?
Answer: Once you complete the course and pass the final exam, you will receive an LTC 101 Certificate of Completion.
